Inchwyrm barks at nothing

What's in my inventory?

This is my submission for the November Bear Carnival.

my loot

These are most of the essentials I have in rotation. I can leave the house without them, but these are what I need to feel like I'm totally prepared (minus my water bottle, wallet, and backpack).

Journals

The larger journal is my bullet journal. I've been using bujos on and off for several years now, but I think this is one of the first that I started in January and will finish next month. I'm quite proud of it!

The smaller journal is one that I can keep in my pocket if I don't feel like carrying around a big journal most of the day. I found it in my incomplete journal stash, and I think it's from like 2012 or something. I only used it for a short while back then though, so I'm filling the rest out now.

In whichever one of these I have on hand, I'll write down thoughts or events I want to remember, as well as tasks I need to complete. Sometimes I doodle in them, too.

Pens and such

If you couldn't already tell, I'm a huge stationery junkie. I have far too many pens and stickers and journals. I usually just leave the house with any pencil and/or pen (you never know when you need one), but if I have my larger journal with me, I also carry some extra supplies in a pencil pouch.

Pilot G-2 0.38

This is my current favorite general-purpose pen. I don't like working with any pen that's thicker than 0.5 mm, but the 0.38 is much closer to what I like (the ideal is closer to 0.1). The gel ink lets me draw on top of most things without bleeding.

Micron 0.25 mm

The classic, for my felt-tip pen needs. I also use it to line my art, when I feel like inking.

Hobonichi Techo 2024 pen

I got this as a bonus with my Hobonichi Cousin last year. The Hobonichi ended up being a bit much for me, but I'm glad I tried it, and this is an excellent pen. Probably the finest (in width and in quality) ball-point I've worked with. It also has multiple colors!

Markers

Tombows are my favorite markers, hands down. I've tried alcohol-based before (even Copics), but I can't deal with the smell or how much they bleed. I use these for lettering and for coloring.

Each month, I choose a new color palette of four Tombows and a Zebra Clickart. I've been doing that for all of 2025, but I'm considering just going with whatever colors I feel like in future months, because it got annoying to "have to" curate a palette each month.

Accessories

I also have a couple little plastic triangle/ruler things. I was too lazy to look up what they're called. I use them for exact lines/measurements when I need that, and I also use them to cut washi tape at precise angles (just press the ruler on the tape and rip along the side. No need for scissors).

I'll often also have some small post-its or bookmarks with me, especially if I plan on reading something.

Tycho!

Tycho (the alien plush) is my emotional support little guy. I feel better when he's around, even if that just means knowing he's in my backpack. He's named after Pascal's alien baby from Sims 2. He makes me unreasonably happy.

Other stuff

Kandi bracelets

Pictured here is my favorite bracelet to wear around: a bracelet I made for Nervous Subject, also from Sims 2. I like to wear it as a reminder that it's okay to be nervous (He's Nervous all the time, after all).

I do make a lot of bracelets, though, so I might wear others depending on what I feel like.

Keys

These are just here because I love that garfield keychain.

Loop earplugs

I'm pretty sure these are the Loop Experience 2? I forget. They're fantastic, though. I'm pretty sensitive to sound, to the point where it sometimes hurts. These make crowds and events way more bearable. I used to carry earbuds with me all the time, but half the time they were playing nothing and I was using them as earplugs anyway. That's the undiagnosed autism experience, I guess.

That's all. Thank you for the fun prompt, Pirate!
