Tag guide

Tags on this blog are organized hierarchically, but that's a little hard to see when they're in a tag cloud. Here's a clearer view with some explanations for tags that don't seem self-explanatory to me.

• blog - challenges, carnivals, and otherwise prompted posts
  • bear_carnival - for the Bear Blog Carnival
  • challenge - anything labeled a blogging "challenge"
• media - discussion of media itself, a specific type of media, or a specific piece of media
  • books
  • games
    • sims_2 - The Sims 2 (2004)
  • movies
    • asteroid_city - Asteroid City (2023)
  • museums
  • paintings
  • youtube
• metablog - posts about blogging, or about this blog in particular
• personal - talking about myself and my experiences
  • learning - specifically talking about things I've been learning
• philosophy - thinking a lot about stuff
  • art
  • beauty
  • ethics
  • meaning
  • self
• response - posts that are responses to other posts or media
• technology
  • artificial_intelligence - almost always referring to LLM's
  • code - posts that contain code that you can copy and paste for yourself
